Imagine wanting to be just a normal player and not being a guest admin, truly a foreign concept on HOG. You should admin your server properly instead. Also teach your admins not to kick people to make room for their clan, pretty shitty to kick someone who's loading in to make room for an admin's own clan.

initializes smth like “Sorry, we are making room for another admin“. This is a formal way to get more admins on the server when the server is full.

You seem not to get satisfyied on any of both ways.

People don't wanna become admin, so only logic thing is there are less admins -> you complaining
Is there admins on the server -> you complaining
No admins on the server -> you complaining

Due two your logic there are only two possible ways you want us to handle it...either nobody is an admin or every player gets admin rights.

There is a difference between making room for an additional admin when the server is in need of those and making room to allow friends of admins to join the server. The second is a clear case of admin abuse. I haven't seen proof of either possibility so I won't make any assumptions for now. I also haven't seen any information about the people kicked, were they just afk? I have kicked loads of afk people to get admins or other people on back in the day I was an admin. But ofcourse you have to check if they are truly afk and not just loading in. Anyway, I think we are discussing something here without knowing all the facts, or not sharing them. Or are talking about different situations.

Also if the plan is to promote getting new admins by telling them they will always have a place on your server, then I suggest you look into this feature called reserved slots. It does the same thing basically without having to be abusive.

Lastly, no matter how pure your reasons to kick a player is, they won't know it. They will just get a generic message.

You don't see the difference between not being able to join a server and getting randomly kicked for no obvious reason during your game?

Who cares about the players and their experience, right?

Sorry, but like mineral said. There is no evidence of us doin so. Provide evidence and I we will handle it. Until th ere it is just an empty accusation without any base.

I think seeing an almost full server with 98 players all the time tryn to join while not being able to annoys a player as well.

Its kinda whitelist. And I guess whitelist concept got removed by devs because its keeping players away from joining.

I wasn’t going to respond to this because the data doesn’t show any out-of-norm kicks (or at least I couldn’t find it), but people seem to really enjoy arguing one sided so I’m going to put an end to it. If you do see an admin kicking in-game players for their friends and not admins report them- attach a name. That’s frowned upon. Kicking afks can be mistake prone as it may be difficult to identify between “connecting” and “afk” especially if you join back in the same round. If that happens to you, sorry. With that said, we do reserve the right to make room for HOG members who need to connect. It’s a clan server and clan members help fund the server. This is done only when there aren’t afks or free kitters to kick on the server first, so I have not seen this situation arise.

@mectus if you want me to check more specifically, PM me an approximate time this happened to you as there are no admin actions on your name in the logs.

-that plan does nothing.Because of that the "Auto deploy" does not work.Should be clicked over and over again to join server(and who has the will to do it every time they want to get in game).Think for those who are not white listed.But that's another topic..

Autodeploy works fine with reserved slots. Set the max number of players to the appropriate value (e.g. 9 and it will work as intended(well, as well as it works on any server).

May I ask what the necessary actions are/were? No need to name and shame, but it's always nice to have a bit of transparency.

Sorry, while you can ask, we will not go into this further. Like you would find in a workplace, internal or HR matters are exactly that, internal.

Harassing people on the PR discord and attacking others that I know of via PM.


This is no way to properly respond to an admin report.


If you want to compare to real life HR situations, they would be stripped of power, suspended with no pay pending investigation.

Got kicked by evox without warning because my APC squad was locked without warning as people disconnected from my squad while I was in constant combat communicating with my team.
