So Mineral, how's the Syrian Arab Army coming along, in particular the RPG-29?
The design plan hasn't been updated for a while, so I've been wondering at what stage in development the faction is currently in. I don't mean to be a nag or anything...

Any chance of Project Reality on Battlefield 3? There is a new mod on Battlefield 3 called Venice Unleashed that is a work in progress, but will allow modding. Now dont get me wrong I love BF2
R, but I would love BF3
R even more.
So any chance of us getting PR on BF3 Venice unleashed?

As for the rpg29, mostly awaiting animations. With only one animator on the team it might take a while
I can only speak for myself but there is 0 reason to start work on Venice. Its a really closed project that nobody even knows is working, with no finished mod tools neither. Its also against Every eula EA/Dice has. Meanwhile with more modern and way more advanced tools equiped game engines such as unreal and Unity, there is no reasons not go for those instead. Which is exactly what Squad is all about

So since Rhino has stated that he will post a dev blog about a system on the type 21 every week, does that mean that the 1.4 release is drawing closer? And possibly in the early part of this year?

Is there a reason why you are able to build firebases and emplacements in DOD? Not sure if PR is meant to be played like that you can build stuff in DOD.
Why not forbid DOD building with script?
e: or add brief reminder "you are building in DOD area"

Python code doesn't know where the DOD is, since that's done though Map's Combat Zones. It may be possible with a lot of work for Python to read the Combat Zone code, but we don't have many Python coders in the team and they are busy frying bigger fish

Bebas font is one of them. Gunplay too, but mostly used in weapon selection icons, I believe. There are some others, but not on my pc atm.
Arial Black was sometimes used in videos in the past, don't know if that's still the case.

why AA side wing missiles been removed from CAS attack helis(Cobra,apache,Havoc...etc) ?
any chance bringing it back.. ?
some might say its better to use LG and get skilled noob
no i disagree with that cause the gunner should use its shit on ground targets
and the pilot look for air threats !
just like IRL.
also while in CAS(both jets and Ahelis) while i dont have any issue with alarm sound of lock on's but is it possible to make Green HUD turn RED or a Bar show up your face (on HUD)

They were removed so that CAS choppers actually helped the team rather than hunt each other for 10 minutes after spawning.

why not auto-flare when you get locked
you don't get missile lock alert in real life, you just know someone is shooting at direction X from place Y. You know if there is a missile flying but you don't know if that missile is targeted at you.
No reason to add some dank flashy YOU ARE FUCKING LOCKED ON, would get too easy. Also I have no issues noticing the lock-on warning/sound.

dont get me wrong i didn't said the lock sound its bad its already ok
but it was a question if it possible to be added (Dev realted)
@Steeps also lol even now when CAS helis spawns they hunt each other and then go to help out the team.
