Nope, you're not.

I'd just like to mention, I lost a cousin in the Army to an IED in afghanistan. That being said, this is just a game. You really shouldn't be getting so into the game where you get an "unpleasant feeling" when watching and hearing these videos. Or maybe you should, I don't know.

I don't object to it, but personally don't think it adds much to player videos.
Something to bear in mind is that these videos will also be viewed by people outside the PR community, who are less likely to perceive it as just fun and games.

Honestly adding the music and news type broadcast to it i think is interesting. Sort of gives another perspective to it. I can see why some might be off put by it, but there are hundreds if not thousands of REAL and PR vids of americans killing iraqi Insurgent/Taliban with rock music, is it not the same thing? If all you get out of this is you posting how this is wrong, then maybe you should think the videos that are posted of NATO forces killing others is equally wrong... Or is it just easier for you to watch because we are the "good guys"?
I once saw a veteran on youtube post a video of whats it like during a sniper attack, there was a video (with islamic music) of US soldiers getting shot... in the head. It was horrible to watch and I ridiculed him for posting it. He ***** slapped logic into me by saying(paraphrasing) that it isn't any better for Americans to watch videos with rock n roll/metal music of NATO forces killing taliban and insurgents. I was too ashamed to reply and admit I was wrong. There you have it, it came from a vet himself. LINK TO HIS PAGE

Dudes do you get upset if you see a movie with this kind of stuff in it...? See it as a movie clip... There is really nothing to be offended by...
Cool video...

Project Reality features Taliban faction, why aren't you people getting upset of that? Everyones knows what their agenda irl is.
Project Reality features Jihad music in bombcars, why aren't you people getting upset of that?

No, you were not wrong. It feels wrong because it brings to mind our own brethren dying. The second you have sympathy for the enemy, is the second he conquers you. I feel no sympathy for the enemy when I watch videos of Taliban dying. Why should I?
In any case, this thread should be locked. Too much trolling and flaming, which I think was the OP's intention.

I do not believe it was the OP's intention to troll with this thread, as these types of videos are quite common.
As has been stated, PR does feature the Taliban faction and propaganda music within the game itself, and the type of video as posted by the OP is quite common and not strictly a rule violation as long as it isn't serious propaganda but rather simply a stylistic element - like the bomb truck music in PR.
However, I'd agree that this thread has been derailed into a political debate, which is not what we want here. Please, nevermind the music and comment on the gameplay. I do of course understand the concerns of those of you who feel offended, but I can't see an actual rule violation here, since, as I said, propaganda music like that is even part of the game. Giving the OP the benefit of doubt, I'll consider the choice of music to be merely selected to achieve a certain style, not to truly support islamist ideas, nor to start a flame war.
Back to topic, please - and the topic is the gameplay in that vid.

With respect it hasn't been derailed into a political debate, it was a political video - we merely discussed it.
There's only ten seconds of gameplay.. I really don't think the OP posted the video to show us that! I suppose it's alternative art, he wanted opinions and feedback on it.

I'll say this, I do get a sick feeling watching this. This video ain't pleasant in the least bit at all.
And I think and hope it was not the intention of the poster to be a supporter of terrorists.
26th MEU is a 'realism' clan and sometimes realism clans take things a little too far.
As was stated before the reason we don't like it is because its a realistic approach to a game play video, and instead of watching our enemies getting blown to pieces we're watching avatars of our brethren. Same reason why I don't like playing against Canada all too much. I've worn and know people wearing that uniform.
I even feel somewhat bad planting roadside bombs, but then I remind myself, as all of you should too - Its a game. If you don't like it, don't play it. If you can stomach it, then fine. Violent video games are not for the feint of heart. You should have known that when you installed a game called project reality that's based around modern conflict. That said, I won't watch this video twice admittedly.

Adds controversy to the thread without actually saying an opinion or stating anything. Beta troll.
