Good effort to try out what we were talking about!
Even though I said that I was not too sure about that gameplay style I will try to be there. The weekend is PRized anyway cause of the map pack beta
Let's see how that turns out...but yeah, commanders seem pretty important!

Still gotta disagree on the COs. All you need to do, is kill the enemy. If you use the squad, or a platoon to do it. Its ur call.

Kashan is probably the dumbest map to try this on given how theres literally nowhere to hide as infantry except the bunkers. Shijia woulda been sick.
I'll be there, go commander, ruin Wicca's experiment that way.
Seriously a **** map for this. Where are the infantry going to go? HAT snipe from the hills? Hiding like babies in the Bunkers? Its gonna be stupid. Change the event to Fool's Road please. PLEASE.

Funk, make your own events. Kashan is excellent for this. Ive been infantry there, and ive loved it. And it was not in the bunkers.

These kinds of comments should be posted after the event has occurred. I don't think it's a big deal if one plays for one night on a map that may or may not be good. Props to Wicca for putting this event on.

I have to agree with Pfunk, there's a few maps that come to mind that would be better than this wicca. Iron Eagle offers alot more cover and tactical approaches for all assets.

I disagree, i think kashan is the oldest most tested map. In all of PR. Most examples i make, i think of Kashan. Therefor, with familiarity in mind, kashan is a better choice.

I don't understand what's up with all the negative comments. This is a one time event. Nobody is forcing anybody to play. It is a different concept, but it is closer to reality...
I'm not totally convinced, but I know Wicca is dedicated PR fan, he's not dumb, and the best round evar used the same no-flags system, 209 days ago. I think he might be on to something with this idea...
Anyway, if I had plenty of boring rounds in PR and Kashaan that turned out bad... I don't mind trying something new.

It isn't closer to realism. In warfare they would be taking locations for a purpose, IE for resources or for area denial.
In PR this unfortunately is replicated only on a few maps where a team will receive assets for taking certain points, but overall the realistic catalyst of taking flags is pretty much lost and comes down solely to capping the enemy out, or to reduce their tickets.
Not shooting down the idea - but I do agree with Funk, there are better maps out there for this experiment.

I think of this as a Search and Destroy mode, only objective is rack up body counts just like they did in Vietnam. By the way Search and Destroy like this would be great for the PR:Vietnam that I hope comes.
