Re: Project Normandy 64p Event
server crashed 3 times, was down for quite a while, now is back up but empty, no new players joining.
might want to try this event again with a more stable version.

[NEW] has been stable for quite a while, perhaps one crash in the past 24 hours. Help us find the cause pls...

Re: Project Normandy 64p Event
Everyone rise off your chairs or kitchen stools and give AfterDune a round of applause!!!!
Well, Well, Done!!!!!
Yes there are some bugs, not many though and the maps itself is so realistic along with the loud sounds of the waves crashing, those 88's hitting the water and the beach, it is beautiful and puts you right then and their on that dreadful day on June 6.
Regarding which servers host this map now and in the future, I strongly recommend auto-balanced be enabled bc at certain points last nite the Gerry's had 35 to the Allies 26.
FOB Suggestion for Germany - Only FOB's with the following deployables: Foxholes, and razorwire. HMG's are overkill, same w mortars due to the amount of fixed cannons already in place.
I do suggest placing fixed MG's in every bunker.
US/Allies side:I get that 2 x .30 cal are unable to be added but how about the one that is currently implemented be equipped with a much larger box of ammo and not overheating so quickly.
Or
Take the deployable HMG .50 cal and put it on the Higgins boat between those two slabs of armor.
US kits: more ammo. Please give the US guys as much ammo as possible. By the time the US troops breach either one of the beaches most kits will have 1 or 2 clips if any avail.
Possible Suggestion:
Destroyable Pillboxes/Bunkers.
Large Ship type cannon at US main with limited ammo to help the troops.
Overall awesome job.

The problem was that there was no admin this night to put auto-balance on

Yeah, german HMGs will be changed for sure, because it's a modern weapon used there, and for removal, I don't know yet, for the mortars too. Because it's usefull to have mortars for germans later in the game.

More ammo is coming for next release

Not sure if you talk about the NEW server but might fit anyway.drs79 wrote: Regarding which servers host this map now and in the future, I strongly recommend auto-balanced be enabled bc at certain points last nite the Gerry's had 35 to the Allies 26.
We are really surprised by the popularity of our normandy server, please excuse the non admin times.
We are eropean based so keeping a full day coverage is really hard.
If you encounter any retards you're always free to report them on oir forums so we can deal with them.
As for autobalance Im going to check that, wasnt intentional to keep it deactivated.
Thank you.
