Well, they're usually in Embassy service. They are expected to have them reasonably clean to keep the company impressed, so to speak. The different services also have a some of their own, though, for force protection (military term for close-protection) and other operations. For example, modified commercial SUVs and trucks have been used by special operations forces in Iraq and Afghanistan for long range patrol.

If it's for embassy service, why is it on the battlefield where it's most likely just going to make an incredibly obvious target for whatever the enemy force may be. Or, if it's for SF use then I still think it needs dirt.

Who's to say that the battlefield won't involve embassy service?

that would be a pretty cool thing to give the game a little more depth, in one map it can be an all out battle where you have the freedom to attack and defend whichever CPs you like and in another you can be Defending/Attacking a convoy of VIPs or much needed material through the streets of hostile territory... im sure someones already thought of this and maybe posted it but i'll err on the safe side

Solodude23 im not sure if this counts but in Battlefield Special Forces there is gonna be an MG technical which is a civilian truck just with a 50.cal on the back.

ehh thats kinda the same as the MG position on the humvee. he meant more, youre in the back seat of the humvee and firing out the window, which as solo said (ill take his word for it) is possible already in BF2

thats pretty realistic .. i never thought about this but how about playing the role of a mercenary ?????????????????the civy cars could be theres ... or something like that . they could basically be a type of special forces .. with the m4a1's and the sniper rifles and civy clothing with BP vests basically look like a casual police .. WHAT u guys think ??????

i think an insurgent faction would be more realistic, theyd fill the same sort of roll youre talking about while still being realistic.

idk and insurgent faction, wouldnt that only be for MEC .. im talking about real pro soldiers for hire paid by companies in the U.S in which many missions in iraq contained many of them .. and by the way instead of calling them MEC just call them IRAQ, or republican guards, or insurgents ..or just middle east . all lil things that will make this mod hot ..

i agree with you about the MEC, i say it can be included but have it represented by iran, iraq, syria and insurgents or something like that.

I see what you mean, youre thinking about contractors. I say if theres a good way to put them in then thats fine.

yeah they could fit fine with the chevy suburban and maybe some other civy cars and heli's ..they would act as a form of SF ...

one more thing MEC"insurgents should be the ones with SHemags over ther faces .. republican guards usually have military clothing "camo" ..

well either way this mod is going to be hot .
