People act as if 14 years old boys sound like little girls, and 18~30 years old soldiers should sound like black porn actors, damn.

But...who doesn't want to sound like a black porn actor?

Re: Argentinian Voices For Falkland Mod (What do you think?)
I don't have any problem with the voices at all, what I don't like and does not sound like argentinian (at least from what I know, I was not born in those years) is for example when you request a pickup, the player says: "necesito una recogida", I have never heard an argentinian saying that, it would say: "necesito transporte" or "solicito transporte". Like I said in previous posts, in my opinion grunt voices are fine, what sounds really odd and over-acted are the officer, voices. I have no problem with those voices staying in-game but as an argentinian did those voices is very weird listening to them. I mean the officers and grunt voices sound like is the same guy but changed his voice, and it sounds really really bad, IMO. Someone else has to do the officer voices, or at least change the way they say/give the orders.
I find the grunt voices ok, that they sound like young guys as some of the ones who fought in the war, weren't over 18 years old.
Other than that I apreciate the job these guys did

The concripts soldiers class 62 (born in 62) had 19-20 years and the class 63 (born in the 63) have 18-19. Some units had 63 class soldiers and others 62. The voice of a 14 years kid is not the same that the voice of a 18-19-20 years old guy.Kevokpo wrote:I don't have any problem with the voices at all, what I don't like and does not sound like argentinian (at least from what I know, I was not born in those years) is for example when you request a pickup, the player says: "necesito una recogida", I have never heard an argentinian saying that, it would say: "necesito transporte" or "solicito transporte". They should sound like they really sound, not like a 14 years kid or like a black porn actor.

those voices don't sound like a 14 years old guy, if you have have a more grave voice then, lucky you but not everybody has the same voice you have. You are 18 and you have a much more grave voice than I do and I am 20, voice has nothing to do with the age.

Agreed.Kaland wrote:The quality of them are great, but not sure if it's only me, but i think they ingame sound like they have a lower volume compared to the other voices in the game. Might ofc only be me though.

You must remember that it's real people in a war and not actionmovie actors
I recently started working in the swedish army and one of the most striking things is that everyone is a real human being, much like anyone you would meet on the street, they haven't got some Black porn star actor voice, they have regular 19 year old boy voices

They were made by Argentinians, and I think that Argentinians have Argentinian accent.

Great job! Would have been awesome considered some bad words such as "Carajo" or to use "replegarse" instead of "retirada" but in general you've done a great job. Thanks!

They are really good voices, as a Gringo in S. America I can vouch they sound good from that perspective.

I agree that the commander voice sounds staged like some B movie.

Most of it sounds good, but yeah some of it its over-acted, and like someone earlier said, sounds like good ol' Arnold Schwarzernegger! Furthermore, some words are just weird, that Argentines dont even use.
Also, it would've been cool to use words like "Mierda carajo!" Something that what we would really say!

Good work soldier.
Excellent.
It would be better, but i think imposible, if could add speech from othe places of Argentina as there were many soldiers ("colimbas") from Corrientes and other provinces than Buenos Aires.
If you need help, I will try to but your work is hard to beat.
