Hi,

Just got to your message.

Do you have a record of your wins/losses as a platoon leader while with any of the PR teams?

That would probably be a better statistic for determining your capabilities as opposed to just saying what you have done. I, personally, know people who could claim SL experience, that no one should ever let lead a squad again.

Just my thoughts.
There was no official record, and the 13thMEU did not compete in very many scrims. There was one scrim against a really cool British clan on Jabal 16 and Ejod 16 where we won by about 32 tickets, if I remember correctly. Another was on Jabal 64 and involved participation from several clans including iGi. Our unit supplied ground infantry personnel. The opposing team was not able to gain control of the situation. I was in charge of the first operation and led a squad in the ladder.

As far as other units, our America's Army unit did compete in CAL or TWL many years ago (cant remember which) and did exceptionally well.

In the 13th, I don't remember any losses, but then again, we weren't a hardcore competition unit and we didn't scrim much. The wins that we received were the result of the expertise of the individual infantrymen and corpsmen as much as it was a result of proper strategy.

For the most part, our unit drilled and trained. And I was on the forefront of that. We held joint unit training sessions more than we competed. And when we did go "into battle" I was there with my platoon. Win or lose, the most important thing was that they were great experiences that built unit cohesion and cooperation within the PR community.

I personally never understood the point in drilling and nerding in games where battlefield never changes (static maps) and only situation changes but again not drastically (same routine FOB placing, caches positions, same assets).

By that I mean that actual playing a video game gives you more than locking your clan on the "training" server. It doesn't apply when you can have 64 clan members on the server though...

Haven't really found exactly what I'm looking for. Which is fine, because I've been going out of town quite often lately.
