Mapper choose, how long is the arty reload/load. Cant be above hour and less than 15 min I guess. That is the boundary.

I am kinda confused checking map layouts...

I see Black Gold has co-op for skirmish layer but not the standard layer, how come? Was it too large?

EDIT: Noticed it with quite a few others too.

Yes! An extra flag in North City on Muttrah for AAS Large! Can't wait to see how that plays out.

Black gold navmesh is base to base, but it has an old static objects, terrain etc from Vapo changing the NE main for Ins. Later though I'll get round to redoing it.

Other maps are just too large and gave me problems, size limits and laziness (Silent Eagle, Yamalia etc). Or not worth making them larger, what with the time it takes bots to get anywhere at all instead going with quality>quantity (Vadso, Bijar).

Definately going to rework/remake a few in the foreseeable future though.

this was discussed when I started the map before Andy took on the mammoth task of finishing it when I went on a long leave of absence (read, quit, but couldn't stay away). However there had been alot of work done using modern statics etc and either updating it for PRV (which was still in its infancy) or making a second version would have just been uncomfortably hard.

I love the Beirut standard layout. Can't wait to see how this plays. This link will be great for recon of the maps during map vote or to prepare before hand. You can actually see very well what the next map is and assets are.

Man... looking at Operation Marlin standard looks like it's going to be a chess game in strategy!

Xiangshan looks especially interesting with French and PLA fighting in swamps. Almost like a Vietnam battle.
