Why is IA drang still in PRV

It's a good simple map that is well balance unlike most of the other Vietnam maps which range from too small for 100 people and are just 30 mins of stalemate, to just poorly balance like Charlie's Point.

Besides it isn't like Ia Drang has been around since .5 like Muttrah which came about some time around there.

Bring back Dien Duong please! It was an awesome map, especially Insurgency

I also really enjoyed Dien Duong. My only complaint was the small amount of transport resources available to the NVA, and the lack of foliage in many areas, although I know nothing about the terrain there in reality; perhaps that was accurate.

Dien Duong has that cave complex that everyone glitches under. IIRC that was a factory in removing it (I don't want to read to countless posts to find a quote but I'm almost certain). Both maps are fantastic and considering that both bring something to the table in terms of game-play and scenery (hardcore CQB from the same set of bushes is a very common occurrence on Ia Drang, and Dien Duong has nice patches of forest interspersed with clearings and plateaus of demise).

Just please do not make a night layer!
