Re: PR: Falklands - Aircraft Updates
Hello looking good but there was somethung I wanted to say for a long time now that your talking about planes and bombs is there a way you can change the sound of the bomb of the plane? When it's coming down you hear a kind of whistle but in real life it's more like a roar I watch alot of war leaks and hear alot of bomb sounds there maybe you can watch some and make the sound more realistic thanks keep up the good work guys and Thank you guys for this amazing game

Quick question, and it isn't really a matter that needs to be taken care of but it would be a nice addition. Do you guys plan on updating the Skyraider instrument panel textures? It is awfully low quality. We use the same plane in BF:Korea as it comes from EOD originally, but we never really tried to update it either.
It is a shame about the setback on the planned content like the ship, but when you are dealing with a limited amount of people on the team it is to be expected unfortunately.
Keep up the awesome work!

Currently we don't have any active sound guys able to do this but if someone from the community wants to give a shot at producing some high quality sounds for it they are more than welcomeqazwa wrote:Hello looking good but there was somethung I wanted to say for a long time now that your talking about planes and bombs is there a way you can change the sound of the bomb of the plane? Not on my PC right now but from what I recall it currently has no first person model or texture and as such you see the 3p cockpit while flying it. I may however have an export scene for it so it might be possible to make a 1p cockpit model and texture, will get back to you later on thatAnthony817 wrote:Quick question, and it isn't really a matter that needs to be taken care of but it would be a nice addition. Oh wow that would be amazing if it got a nicer cockpit. In BFK I know I spend more time in that than the F86 Sabre or Mig-15! I guess dropping tons of napalm is really addicting lol.
By the way, I read earlier today Argentina used Stens. Do you know if those were used in the Falklands or were they not in use anymore in the early 80's? I only ask since we have a Sten you guys could use but the animations for it aren't quite up to par. The model itself looks nice at least.
