Fixed shadows going through walls? Hardware cursor? Wonderful, absolutely wonderful, thank you so much to the devs.

The shadows through walls thing was one of the issues that made it so hard to tell if people were hacking or not, now it's going to be way easier. This was one of the things that held PR back.

So it begins ... the greatest Project Reality of our times ! 8-)

I'm getting excited by all the new coop stuff and what look to be new maps with AI support :razz:

As always thanks for all the hard work :mrgreen:

EDIT: Just loaded up Adek Beta and I can't get spawn points to show. I loaded up another map and spawn points do show.

  • Added options to increase LOD switch distances on statics and overgrowth.
  • Removed options to disable LOD switching on statics and overgrowth.
  • Increased near-clip distance slightly to improve Z-fighting.
  • Fixed some performance issues in executable code.
COOP:
  • Fixed most vehicles being automatically destroyed if abandoned for too long (boats excluded).
Menu:
  • Added packet loss indicator to scoreboard management tab.
  • Added an option for squad leaders of asset squads to toggle the Asset Claiming System in the Manage Squad menu.
  • Fixed the map opening 0.0025s too fast.
  • Fixed the flag capture progress bar opening too slow.
Weapons:
  • Fixed grenade traps being invisible.
  • Fixed German WW2 AT mines being invisible.
  • Fixed mines triggering team vehicle damage even when killing enemy vehicles.
Vehicles:
  • Fixed BMP-1 reload sound not synced with reload.
  • Fixed MTLB dying to 9mm projectiles.

      • Re-added all accidentaly overwritten fixes from 1.6.8.0.
      • Changed stationary AA weaponry back to the previously used type.
      • Fixed Chinese forces using Russian choppers.
      • Fixed the UAV fuel bar showing incorrect amount of fuel.
  • Bamyan:
    • Fixed helipads in the south-western part of the airfield not having resupply zones.
    • AAS128:
      • Reduced ticket count.
      • Fixed light settings making dynamic objects too bright.
      • Fixed USMC using US Army assets.
      • Fixed USMC having no repair station.
      • Fixed Taliban having no supply vehicles.
  • Black Gold:
    • COOP128: Fixed the UAV fuel bar showing incorrect amount of fuel.
  • Jabal:

      • Fixed REDFOR DOD not being printed on the minimap.

      • Updated the bridge to look like it is not fit for any usage.

After this update I have been inflicted with some sort of bug or glitch..

I can join servers normally but whenever I spawn, the text "There is a problem with your connection" appears stuck on my screen and I cannot hear any in-game sounds, cant use text chat, stuttering movement...

But I can walk, crouch, run and crawl, see people and vehicles running around like a normal game. Despite the warning I am still in the server for as long as I want unless I Alt+F4 or Disconnect, as opposed to previous versions when that text appears I become stuck like losing connection but regain connection after.

Any ideas what could have caused this and how do I fix it? I have checked my internet, modems, routers and all I could possibly think of network related. All of it is fine and I can play other multiplayer games just fine.

Awesome devs! Thank you so much!

The LOD static and overgrowth thingy is working like a charm for me Statics LODS at max, and overgrowth at 2/3rd and still manage a proper 108 Fps .... Good just good :D

Vegetation’s maxed LOD tend to kill my framerates so i gave up on it back then, but now by just putting it slightly down It run smoothly

Supporting this game since 0.6 Never gonna give up!
