Today there was a guy in our squad driving an enemy Vodnik on Jabal... No clue how he did it, has to be a bug.

Vehicles which have been airdropped do not have a side restriction.

I didn't know that... Heh, I can just imagine a group of USMC soldiers riding in the back of a Vodnik and coming into one of the beaches filled with hostiles on Jabal and all of them storm out of the Vodnik and recapture the beach (Trojan Horse, hehe).

Yeah I used that fact once (same time I discovered it myself actually) in .5 on Inshall; was USMC against china, got their Nanjing and got 12 of them or so at a flag. They where so confused.

If I remember correctly, on one of the maps insurgents can get into any HMMWV that the USMC team has. Perhaps it was Falujah? ( Desert Storm )

To be honest, I don't really hate the map... I just hate the area where the fighting always takes place (dam and bridge)

True about the bridge, that is one area of this otherwise great map that does suck. Mainly because fighting against or from mountain areas, like near the bridge, is lame and unrealistic, for a number of reasons.

I had one of the coolest moments on Jabal yesterday though:

I was leading a mostly full squad from the MEC main base over to the US occupied west beach. Our whole squad was in a Vodnik, which i was driving. We were speeding through that twisty canyon area when suddenly we turn through one of the corners and we nearly crash right into a Commander truck.
I came to a full stop, as did it (probably through panic), and immediately the gunner on our .50 cal opened up. He killed the driver of the truck in the first couple shots and then proceeded to unload on the whole squad of infantry who were disembarking from the vehicle.
It must have been almost full because there were at least 6 or 7 bodies on the ground after it was over. I don't think they ever even got a shot off, at least not in our direction.

Just goes to show you the power of even a humble Vodnik and the grisly deaths that await those who travel without escort in unarmed vehicles. :D

Of course 40 secs later we were all killed by an enemy mine on that same road, so i guess it evened out.

Great map, well designed and all. Just whenever I play, my team is too uncoordinated to capture and hold Dam and then take bridge. We end up in a wild scuffle at the dam and end up holding the beaches. Maybe if the hills had shrubs and more cover and the terrain was tweaked a little around bridge it would be perfect.
