Agh, back in the early .5 days. 2 apc's rolled up in to the slums area with all full vehicals and 4 men behind. 75% of the team found them self heading towards the gas station while getting encounterd by the convoy. The insugries were getting picked off and pushed back to the road that is south of slums (it has a little wall by it). From then the apc's were wounder because of rpg fire. The men got out and rushed us back t that road. the insurgies move to the east and make a stand while the west is populated with us soliders. the road was no mans land, when you looked at that road it was a tracer fest, there was no words to describe it. it went on about a minute or 2. Felt like an hour, dodgin all those bullets...After the abrams pulled in it was over for the insugies.

My best firefights are when all my squad members live to tell the tale.

On AlBasrah recently i was playing as insurgent, somehow i found myself with no team mates all alone at NVCP. There were no BRits there either to defend, felt kinda creepy. I managed to take out their command bunker and commander truck then I typed in team chat that there was no-one at VCP. Within 2 mins the whole VCP was flooded with insurgents using the brit built commander assets for cover. We capped the flag.
Then 3 apcs turned up with 2 landrovers and many infantry. The fight seemed to last ages but we fended them ALL off as someone had the good sense to bring a spawn car into the VCP and hide it in the south west corner. RPG's flew, mines and C4 blew the rattle of AK's were everywhere, coupled with setting traps for the infantry with civvies and ambushers, it really was an epic fight. It mustve looked amazing from a distance as molotovs almost surrounded the VCP making it look like the north end of vcp was totally on fire. Coupled with the burning APC's and wrecked landrovers it truely felt like some sort of frontline heavy warzone.
