This strategy sounds really good. I hate how Ill join maybe the 1 infantry squad and then Ill see 2 APC squads, 2 trans squads and like 1 little bird squad. Im stuck down on land with only 5 guys athen 10 straglers who dont join squads to cap points. It amazes me how people are so dumb at the game.

My strategy for the cobra is to use in only when my team call it in so i can preform a gunrun, missile strike, or just attack a flag thats heavily guarded, then once in the combat zone i order my pilot to keeping popping flares so we can avoid any AA locking on. (note the flare thing works very well for Strike aircraft and ground attack jets to.) So far i've only used the trick on training servers (that have a lot of MEC) and attacked bombing range, most attack runs i lived some times i died because of the AA guns and the mec trying to camp the US helo training.

what about setting u starting FB in the lot near the oceanside?
i've expirenced plenty of suppression of the US FB when set up in places where it cannot realy get any support from aircraft. if by the ocean and docks, the cobra could set up near docks (little west of it) and if MEC even tries to get their apc to support it...

Thing with PR is people are using their mics, but the comms system needs to be recoded so SLs can talk to each other and sort out who goes where, instead of each group of 4-6 people just being a lone entity.
That would make the whole shebang with 1 squad holding and 2 advancing much easier.
Otherwise, the Non-Tarded SL has to be the one who holds back so the advancing ones are more likely to get killed.

There needs to be more time to organize it before the game starts.

But good plan I had a similar one. Good to know people want to win that map!

Done it countless times, with MEC and USMC as an SL in Muttrah. Sometimes I have nice squad members that abide to the order and defend, sometimes I have morons that just go on their pointless lives and get kicked from the squad...
I totally agree that the SL's should hear the command channel between each other.
Even when there is a commander, it makes sense that the others hear whats going on with other squads. Plus it avoids the frequent event of 2 SL's speaking to the commander at the same time!
