Your tank is dead, what now?

Often I just wait, because in many cases the crews that got killed are not interested in a new tank, so there's a high possibility that a new one spawn way before my old one does. And someone should take it, and who better than the tank squad?

But yea, if we know there's not going to spawn a new vehicle, we often fly to a flag or something.

I would normally ask the team or APC squad if I could take an APC. If we weren't allowed to then we would normally do Recon, build FOB's and do mortars or be the frontline infantry.

Agreed, I admit I sometimes wait at base though for ie, helo, jets, armor, etc.

One note: Do not take any asset that's not your squads. Example: You're T-72 squad on MEC, but you take a BMP-3 when there's a BMP squad already.

Otherwise, stay in the fight and keep supporting your team.

well if ure into tanks then yo ushud make it ure business to know how long till the next respawn.

if ure guna piss if u cant have next tank leave one man behind at main to secure it
(rest of u do logi or spawn at firebase and ask for orders)

only jet pilots or prospective jet pilots should wait at main if at all and only for the last 5 mins

As long as the squadleaders remembers that the tanks spawn back in 20, I am all for having the squad do something else. If you are SL and want to spend time on your ipad for the next 20 leave the squad free to spawn elsewhere.

normally when Im in a tank squad and I have a squad leader that I know I usually ask/tell lets build some fobs where it could be usefull. we go build 2 fobs and then rtb with that logi and poof we maybe have to wait 2-5 minutes for a tank or they are already up.

this is very common so if the enemy does that too the team on the front is not outnumberd, its even... and i am a defender of the rule: "name your squad as the asset you are using" because this makes sure a squad sticks with his job and an asset like a helo is always available...

but anyway if 3 tanks on a team get blown up it might be usefull for the team if the tankers spawn at a FOB close to the frontline and help the team out a bit (but they shouldnt grab other assets)
