Elvish. Thanks bro. I got the sniper kit at the very start of the round and you flew me behind enemy lines flawlessly. Thanks again.

An issue with flying low in the city, is that you may find yourself turning a corner into the sights of a 50cal or bigger. Instant failure.
Where tanks and heavier APCs exist, you will find yourself being quite easily snipped by 120mm guns.

I once met NickO, in the Attack Huey, with my Truck, ofcourse neither of us survived
(He flew with 10km/h at a level of 0.7M from the ground)

I think this is a given with any aircraft really.
Also flying low in a city requires practice but once you master it you can evade anything, becasue usually if you are a good pilot you will be moving faster than the technical can turn from such a close distance.

I found a little trick, however I'm not sure it works 100% in PR. IF your flying in a map that includes water, try flying as close to the water as you can and AA missiles will fly overtop and end up overshooting... I'd like to see if anyone has attempted this at all and succeeded
It works in BF2, however every mod is different...

Well it sort of works, butits not necessarily that the rockets will go voer you, but flying low is a good way to avoid any kind of AA coverage.

Thats because you are less easy to spot

Imo contour flying (low flying) is a must in pr, Because of view distance limitations the choppers effectiveness when engaging targets is severely limited (as opposed to their actual real world effectiveness) Not only that but contour flying is a hell of a lot of fun when you know what your doing.

If you know the streets by the back of your hand then you have too much time on your hands XD
To the ones who fly within the streets of Muttrah
I'm curious do you study the maps when your not on PR or at school/work? or just from playing that map so much?

No. Just a good memory.

You fly enough and you get to know the maps, I usually fly below building level to avoid the aa, it just sucks when you run into a btr. or when youv landed to pick someone up and a comm truck rams you from behind lol.

Some people argue that flying low in a helicopter is a good way to run around a corner and smack into a tank, technical, etc. But if you are flying with a high enough airspeed, low enough, you shouldnt have any problem evading. Well maybe a little but you know...

Pretty close air support, though not quite danger close, even though anything the apache does is dangerous. Its one of my favorite helicopters.

When flying over water I like to have a bit of altitude since there aren't any objects that can block the missle or lock so I need some room to dive, deploy flares and manouver. I find that if you are right above the water flares aren't any good because they hit the water right away and do nothing so you need a bit of altitude for them to be usefull.
Other than that low flying is ver effective of urban/forest maps but it never works in desert maps for me, or very rarely and I've killed too many choppers lowflying on kashan I try not to be that guy.
