Does this mean we'll see grenade launchers in Humvees?

(sorry if there's been a long discussion about this that I am not aware of)

Wow, that's a huge target. . I guess it will also move much slower than other APCs? And the Mk19 won't be very effective against other vehicles, I guess?

Ah, well, that's good, actually. People will, hopefully, focus on transport rather than going out on their own minitank-adventures.

Amphibious Assault Vehicle

moves at 45 MPH (the Abrams moves at 42)

and it sails at 8,2 MPH

so it aint really slow ;)

also loaded with the right kind of 40mm HEDP grenade it should no problem to penetrate the other APC's (can a .50 penetrate 2 inches of armorplate ?)

40mm Low-Velocity Grenades

quite simply, you don't want to be in the way of this beast it packs a punch

lovely vehicle, but i never understood why people get nervous about every autogrenadelauncher, its basicly just a .50 with limited range and splash damage, nothing ubercool, appart from shooting technicals and bombercars the .50 will be far more usefull than the AGL

correction, it would be much more like APC HEAT rounds but with a grenade trajectory :)

So basically its a huge LAV thats harder to aim :P

its not like that on Basrah or Fallujah, so why would it be like that?

We don't know yet how much ammo it will have in-game or whether it will overheat.

I don't think a 40mm grenade would be overpowered compared to the current 30mm HEAT round, it'd likely be much harder to aim considering grenade trajectory.

Awesome work, looks real good. :)

One thing though, can you simulate the cramped rides and horrible smell of diesel too? ;)
