Looks really good. Doesn't Russia also have an APC which is based off a tank platform?

I'm suspecting armor wise, this'll be as tough as the Merkeva itself if not more?

Well, they don't have APCs in use that have tank armour, but they have the BMPT which i think is being produced. Its not an APC, but an IFV (Which by the way kind of understates it).

Oh, and the source below doesn't mention it has a T-72 chassis.

and the second pic is the model with specular all the way to the top to show off the effect of the normal map.
OHHHH okay. That makes sense... as of now it looks a little... BF1942ish if I may say. Once it's completely finished no doubt it'll look amazing

Very nice, but it won't replace the M113. In fact I'd like to see the M113 alot more often. The US should even have M113's considering they are the most common US APC (well, I read that we have 6000 M113's compared to 4000 Bradley or something like that).

Excellent model, looking forward to it. Few questions:

Will this completely replace the M113 for the IDF in game?

Will it be a .50 variant only?

Is the armor have the exact same values as the Merkava?

Will the Merkava still be able to carry 6 infantry, or will that feature be removed so this APC is more valuable?

What maps will it feature on?

Will Merkavas still feature on 1km maps such as Gaza?

Does the area I've highlighted in red (bits poking out) house space for one or more infantryman (see hatches above them), or are supplies/electronics stored there?

I'm guessing the extra bits are for armor packages I'm guessing. The M113 will still appear in maps with less intensity, and if the Namer only has its .50, I'm as sure as hell it'll come with the Pintle mounted FN MAG on the left side of the RWS.

most likley but there are also engineer versions of the Challenger 2 etc and we do not have enough players ingame to go ahead and make engineering vehicles on top of all the other vehicles/roles we have already.

Excellent, I'd like this to replace the M113 and Merkava on some maps. Say in Beirut the IDF gets three of these, and a few transport hummvs instead of the one Merkava and 3-4 M113s.

Like a Stryker on steroids!

1.it is not an IFV, it does not carry infantry, its has 5 crew members and thats it
2. It wasn't produced in any serious numbers, iirc there are 2-3 of those(you're referring to, if not 1)+ 3 other variants of it rusting on the backyard of Kubinka tank museum.
Anyway, whole thing was cancelled recently, this exact vehicle wont get into mass production
sauce
Rumours say new project was initiated recently, which will be majorly different from "Ramka" and have closer to BMP-3-like weapon complex

it could be built over T-72 and T-90, but those we saw should be T-90
