Ah jeez. I need to speed up my money intake for a new computer. I can't handle the awesomeness of this APC on my old one :D .

I'm not talking about the smoke launcher at the back of the turret. ;)
In addition to the usual smoke-grenade launchers with 8 shots, there is a 6-shot 76 mm launcher at the back of the vehicle for close-in defence.

Do try to remember that even though that is the most awesome texture I've ever seen, you can't run PR on high textures anyway unless they finally fixed that.

Wut? High textures work totally fine, dude. Running on Windows 7 64-bit. Wasn't it Vista that had those problems?

Vista... the Windows Millenium of this time :D .

About the model, it sucks, start over :p . No seriously, it's gorgeous! Totally awesome!
Would look as good as the renders in ArmA II for sure though :p .

It's because BF2 crashes when you are out of physical memory. I can enjoy textures on high with my 2 gigs of RAM (Windows XP) with lighting set to medium. You can test it with a little tool that checks how much memory is allocated to what programs.

Weird. I have to run on medium or certain maps crash. I have a nvidia 9600 GT and 2GB of RAM. Windows XP as well.
