I think there are a couple of comm factions that are quite close to being ready. They'll probably stay secret as long as possible.

Pure win, everything looks great, especially the Eotech ;) . But I have to agree with some others here...why have been the Germans left out. Aren't they almost finished??

I never said it cant be edited, i said we're not going to edit it, because its pointless and i gave you reasoning why some highlights are not in.

If there is a limit to the amount of links in a post, there's actually one link being wasted on the 'New shader for 3D Optics' as it's listed twice under 'Coding:' and 'Graphics:'.
1# bosco collects the updated dev blogs and highlights that he thinks would be suitable for a Highlight (this happened a week before the big German faction release was announced IIRC)

2# he writes up the highlights reel, asking devs to post up better or more finalised renders for his highlight. He also downloads the latest test build to get in-game shots of highlights (germans were not fully in the latest test build at this point)

3# Website Gurus (Who are extremely busy at the moment with test builds, wiki, website updates and real life) adjust pictures in photoshop, add the templates and write up the dev blog so it is formatted in a way that the main page can handle.

4# Red tags check the update and it's posted.


We aim for only 3 items in an update. We had 4 items this time due to there being 4 big projects we wanted to show off. if we had included the German Faction, they would have knocked off one of the other projects. And we don't want to include them in a small footnote at the bottom.
