I just use the 3x2 system.

Expendables comprised of 2 riflemen or specialists.

AR Team
comprised of the AR and a specialist. (Never underestimate the power of having an AR on top of a building, specialist is with him for the grapple and to pickup the kit incase he goes down, no other teams will move out until this team is in position)

Smedic which is essentially the medic and the SL.

Assault team goes up the middle or simply gathers the most attention to take the bullets. If need be, the specialist from AR team can join these guys while the Smedic team will flank or come in to clean up after the assault team dies. I've been using this strategy for coming up on one year now and it works pretty dam well. Obviously the process is adjusted depending on the circumstances.

But unfortunately due to there being no concept of fear of death in PR, combined with the fact that a SAW is currently the greatest weapon at any range, no matter what formation or system you use it will never be foolproof.

I find fire teams absolutely uber, but I rarely use them when I have publics in my squad.

In the UNSTF each squad leader trains his 6 men to how he wants it done, in each given situation.

I tend to have 3 fireteams

Fireteam one is an all out assault fire team

Fireteam 2 give fire from a longer distance than ft 1 and can provide flanking options,

Fireteam 3 is AR and Grenadier which unleashes all out hurt on our targets.

it really works in most situations.

if you want to know more about Fireteams and team play, and are looking to join a good team,

U.N.S.T.F. come join us for a trial memberships and get some gaming done
