It's Chinese I believe. 中孩子 Which literally means middle child. But I think he could have been trying to say Chinese child.

If someone can get a better angle of it so I could confirm it.

After looking at it again I came up with the same. We'd have to ask him to know the reason.

i dont know whats 由紀子 means in Chinese, it might written as Chinese.
