i don't want to criticize before playing, but i was really looking forward to playing this map, and when you took out apaches then you basicly made second ramiel.
also what happened to dusk version? it looked so awsome.

Until all bugs are found on the map it can't really be made a night map. Also agree about the Apaches...

I also was looking forward to this map because of the apaches and as masterceo said, youve jst made another ramiel :(

One thing I was really looking forward to is gone. Just my luck.

Wow, im glad you guys support the fact that he put 100's of hours into a map to make it for free for us to enjoy and you guys still complain about how you dont get a special toy to play with.

I love how many new maps are being made, regardless of what armies, assets and size they are. Just appreciate all the time these people are putting in to make this mod better and more fun.

Its a free game, stop crying. If i was a mapbuilder and i got this kinda response i would just stop putting my effort out to make the game better for you.

You interpret it wrong, I think the map is awesome and respect all the work put on it. Doesn´t stop me from not liking the asset layout.

I doubt you would play kashan it all it had was 1 truck.

Like the deviation, as much as I hate it, I respect the work done on it. Doesn´t mean I like it though.

actually i was wrong, it will be the kinda like basrah v2, because of that abrams.
i really dont understand the decision to take out the apache, there were supposed to be at least 2 manpads for ins and a number of AA guns, so it wouldn't hurt the balance i guess
its like timo said in some other topic, everything just gets nerfed/taken out if its fun, dont understand that way of thinking.
and yes, i am whining because of the lack of ANY air support on insurgency maps (which is supposed to be enormous, like in RL). This map was supposed to be diffrent, now its like meh, sure will be great but not what i expected

im the biggest infantry whore ever, and i agree that the removal of the apaches wasnt the best idea, its a good map though.

also, asset choosing probably isnt the mappers choice, so even if we said assets layout is worst in history , we arnt talking to the mapper.

stop bitching about people making valid comments for god sake.

the map was originally shown with lots of assets, now there isnt any. (well a tank, and that fails but i wont go into why it fails.)

Valid? Please, probably all of those whiners would choose US Army.

It happens in 0.8, it will happen in 0.85. With this Apache even less people would like to play as an insurgent.

People haven't played Karbala, yet. But they are already whining about the lack of fun factor.

Adding Apache wouldn't make Insurgents too happy. Getting shoot from 600 metres. AA's wouldn't do cr@p against Apache IF the AA is lased.

IF map is fun in your opinion because it has an attack heli, get PRSP.

Actually I have played the map, and so has Gazz. Its a valid comment, because I am not sure if you noticed but maps have different layers available to vary the gameplay.

Also if the insurgents where done right it would be fun for them to, and thats me speaking as a pilot whore.

I guess you didn´t play 0.5... Because the very people that said the cobras and such rocked to play on there, also said insurgents rocked to play aswell.
