What is wrong with Jabal? I quite like it and it would be nice if admins would set it every now and then. It gets boring to play Black Gold and Khamisiyah all the time

The layout of the map and the fact if u have 10 competent people on MEC team with HAT and AAs could hamper the US deployment in the first 10 minutes of game play and secure a win round for MEC.
PR generally need more maps, middle east and far east maps in particular, China lacks a proper city 2km map. Something like enlarged Mashtur City BF2 would be cool, a really balanced BF2 it was.
Sorry to say but Outpost and Saladahahaha are not good AAS maps, they feel like BF2.
Bijar could be overhauled and Black Gold needs more cover for INF.
On the other hand, Iron Ridge update is spot on!!!

The new Iron Ridge is great! I love the ligthing and the new bushes/trees
Not sure how the gameplay will change over time... i think the players have to adapt to new strategies.
There is currently too much headless chicken stuff going on ^^
Bijar:
-Remove the cave bunker flag/remove the OP super FOB room at the lowest level of the bunker.
-Add more space for infantry combat like cities.
-Change assets in general, more light vehicles less APC/tanks.

Why do the French force's FAMAS does not have usable bipods in PR? I just learned that each and every examples of FAMAS F1 and FAMAS G2 comes with a stock bipod. Since we no longer have binoculars on any/all kits for a while now, would it be too abusive to give this faction a more accurate portray of their assets? I mean bipods.

I think the biggest reason might be the fact that bipods occupy a weapon slot, meaning that every kit equipped with the Famas would have to get rid of some piece of equipment in order to have the option to set the bipod.

We accurately have them ingame
For gameplay reasons though they aren't usable.

Why were the AA missiles removed from attack helicopters? (update from 0.98 to 1.0.0.0)

Because attack helis would spend more time in dogfights than going for ground targets.

I mean, they still do it anyways. AA just gives the chopper who went ground pounding a bit of an offensive reaction to being dove on.

Right now it's not even close as to what it was when they had AAs. There were countless rounds on Kashan where no one would even get a sight of the attack choppers for the whole round because when they initially spawn they go 2k altitude, kill each other, or one survives etc. Then when they spawn again they spend the rest of the time looking for the enemy chopper. Now it is a lot easier to disengage from an attack chopper in the air.

if people are gonna hide at 2km, let them. like if they want to waste there time to make sure they don't die hiding at 2km its fine. good pilots will just go for ground kills and kill people.

The problem with that is that the CAS team that went for ground targets would immediately be reported over voice to the enemy CAS team who will come up close behind them then turn on the AA almost guaranteeing the kill. Now, if the enemy CAS comes up your back you can evade the cannons and rockets

I mean yeah in theory.

Another reason for the removal of heli AA missiles was that "most attack choppers rarely mount heat-seaking missiles in real life despite being able to carry them." [Devcast #3] Whether that's still true, I dont know

When was the last combat mission where helicopters we're to verse other helicopters? Vietnam? I could argue with flight data of combat mission loadouts, but helis aren't gonna get AA back.

IIRC more that some of the attack choppers are incapable of mounting AtA Missiles.

I don't know if it exists already but is there any way to implement a feature for the PR cameraman kit where you can toggle on or off whether or not the player experiences suppression?
