Have you guys ever thought about simplifying and commercializing PR and selling it as a stand alone product?

Right now there is a huge hole in the PC FPS market for a game like BF2/2142. Call of Duty and Battlefield both cater to the consoles crowd, and the games are overly dumbed down because of that.

PR2. It won't be simplified, and it won't cost money, but it'll be standalone. They're on our front page right now :P

Simplifying PR?

Impossible without making it stop being PR.

Because Battlefield 4 is basically what you get after dumbing down everything.
(Although I do not hate the idea that you can control some interface on mobile devices; helps to have one hand controlling UAV...etc. while the other is clicking for contact reports)

Will there be an Insurgency layer of Khamisiyah? (Wait, that goes in Suggestions...)

Wouldn't work, I don't know about R-CONs and R-COMs, but the Devs are noobs, Rhino himself (according to his fame) would kill more of his team than the enemies themselves would.

:p

I'm not saying bringing it down to call of duty levels. I'm suggesting that they take what makes pr great and simplify it to a point where it would sell well as a commercial product.

That is (hopefully) not going to happen.

Why would they have to aim that state ? They didn't plan to sell it at all.

If you buy the engine for a few millions, go for it.

On the other hand, why would we be interested in changing our beloved gameplay just to have shitty gameplay with lots of commercial, non teamworking players.

Question:
When can we expect a content patch or a map pack? (you're never going to answer this)

Yes, your right we aren't going to answer that with any time frame. We are working on quite a bit of new content but when it will be ready, we simply just don't know excatly. Even giving a rough time frame isn't a good idea as we all have real lives and even if one of our critical people has to take a bit of LOA that can slow or even stop the progress of any new features till they come back. Giving any kind of time frame would just mean if we missed it, you guys would simply get disappointed and feel that we have let you down which is why we only give out time frames when we are close enough to be sure we can meet them.

Does any dev (or old school user here) remember the Eggman's history about flirting with a hot woman but later he finds out "she" has a huge ****?
[R-DEV]OkitaMakoto:"Cheers, you're the man, Okita"
[R-DEV]Rhino:"I in fact got kicked from a server for tking."
Hitperson:"well done, treasure it forever."
[R-DEV]Adriaan:"Damned classy Roma, if I may say so."
[R-DEV]Chuc:"Pro man, pro."
(yes, it was about me)
[R-MOD]BloodBane611:"Romagnolo, you definitely deserve a LOL award for that."
