You know, if somebody hadn't said "It[0.9] could be here but then end of the month[january]", we wouldn't be having this discussion and the fourm alert level wouldn't have to be raised. Unfortunatly thats one of those things you can't un-say.

Hey guys, yea we jumped the gun with saying "it will probably be out by end of January"

But thats software developement for you... we had to delay slightly because of issues.

But please remember the news post never said it would definitely absolutely positively be out by end of january

This is actually what the news post said:

While being the first reel of 2010, this will be the last regular update before the official release of Project Reality v0.9. We are currently testing release candidate builds, so the PR v0.9 release is close at hand and will hopefully be out before the end of this month!

So please have some more patience while we test the final version so its not a catastrophic failure when everyone downloads and just crashes to desktop, which is what might happen if we blindly rushed the release (which we dont do )

If you don't release it soon, all the community will go crazy!!!!!!
