I know it was supposed to be a joke, but on a serious note using a joystick for jets in PR gives you no advantage at all. Even more, people with M+K or keyboard only will probably have an advantage because they can use the F cameras while maintaining full maneuverability, so they will be able to spot you a lot faster than you. A joystick is a lot more fun, but mouse is also more accurate on gun runs.
I hust have the F cameras on my joystick...
if you've spent all that money on a joystick and it doesn't have a few extra buttons for you to change weapon (i.e. view) then tbh it was a poor investment...

Mouse is worthless for flying jets.
Enjoy getting outturned because you had to move your mouse forward to keep your elevator pushing your tail down in a bank.
Plus, I dont know why you wouldnt just map 7, 8 and 9 keys to something practical

I have just mapped the 1,7,8,9 keys to my hat switch, that way you can look around just like in any other flight sim, by some limitations, of course.

False false false false false. I use mouse and keyboard and I also use 7, 8 and 9. It's all about being used to it
