Wow! Finally an answer to this old thread of mine!! The person I'm referring to had his PR looking somewhat like this. Never saw this thread before! :)

It's installed into the main BF2 folder, installing a new version of PR won't change anything.

Thanks Rudd.

Alright so despite the horrific lag, I got some time in 1.0. Dovre looks amazing with it (despite how choppy and stuttery it was). Here it is for all to enjoy:

Drop those 2 files in the main BF2 directory where you installed ENB, and overwrite the files.

As you can see here, I have included pics of normal PR, ENB V2, ENB V3, and my settings for V3.

Personally, I think regular V3 looks the worst (no offense). It's very yellow and way too bright. V2 had the right idea, but the shadows are a bit too dark for me (imagine how dark shadows are on darker maps like Vadso with V2 on :-? ). V2 also has nice saturation, something which V3 negated a bit by pulling back on the saturation in favor of more overall yellow in the palette (two things I fixed in my settings, or rather reverted somewhat to V2 status it seems). However, V2's palette does feature a bit too much yellow for me, something my palette doesn't. As you can see between the V2 and V3SC pictures, my colors are a bit bluer/more neutral.
Without ENB looks better. This thing just adds over the top contrast burning the whites and making shadows too black.

Thanks very much Stealth.

With your settings, sir, all shadows are blue.. you most be blind!

Are people who are using ENB having problems getting PR v1.0 to launch?
Had reports people are getting stuck at the point between the intro movies and the Login screen, stuck in the black screen.
Please report if you've experienced this.

Stealth Clobber that's a really nice filter,
we had similar sensibilities, I had left ENB behind after v3 was released, for the reasons you stated.
Will give your filter a try tomorrow.

I never get login screen, just the loading icon and a black screen. It always logs in though and I don't have this filter.

Don't have any problem with enb or SweetFX. Find SweetFX more compelling though. Tried making my own profile, but still not 100% there, got a little yellowish tint on some maps. But finally the maps don't look as if someone put a bloom over them :)

Sometimes had small problems that were all fixed by relaunching. I didn't get 'stuck'/crash though.

I think i prefer Stealth Clobbers one.
Yours are just too strong, too much contrast.
Maybe it is just on my screen, dunno.

Btw: Is the "Fake Fullscreen" still working with the PR Launcher? Do you just have to add "-noborder -windowed" to the pr launcher shortcut?

Meh, I wish I could use it now, but my machine can not stand it with 1.0 anymore. My average FPS is 20. :(

Anyway, I will install it and check it even with shitty FPS, just to take a look.

Note: set all my shit on full high including nVidia boostings, ENB and VSync and ran a full round on Al Basrah with full 100p server getting average 20 FPS with is OK.

1.0 is a troll game.

Alright so I did some comparison shots between V4 and my settings. There are virtually no changes between my settings with V3 and V4, except V4 is a little sharper. So I recommend using them on V4.

V4 is still pretty harsh, but the palette isn't so brown anymore which is good. However the sharpening effect on it (not present on my settings) is just bad IMO.

Tried ENB yesterday, must say it looks terrible.
Also prefer the default in everyone of the comparison pics above.
The only thing that might look a little better are the shadows, apart from that it all looks way to unnatural.

Don't want to be offensive to anyone, I just prefer the way it looks normally :)

Give it another try using 0.2 Californian Sun, mate. Calibrate your monitor using it as it looks better for your personal tastes
