well i dont know, i am not an all seeing, all knowing orb, i am just a lowly chef , it will be here when it gets here. the devs said today will be the release, they did not give a time. and as there are 24 hours in a day, you can take your own guess on which one it will be.

what would you do before you release a piece of software to a large audience?
things that come to my mind are:

a) make sure distribution is secured
spread the installation file to a number of sources. make sure the file arrives safely (work with checksums) and that bandwidth will be available.

this will take time.

b) communicate with your sources to manage a synchronised release
c) commuicate the release with the audience. this includes writing a news-article etc.

if the developers are mainly located in europe and have a regular dayjob, I would estimate a release to be at ~19:00 CET.
