yes there are two separate mobile artillery systems, one that has been superseded was the 4x4 105mm bushmaster FOV the other which has just been re-proposed for the land 17 (i think) project is a 6x6 long base, 155mm mobile artillery system. these are still in testing and have not reached production yet. Thales apparently intends using a variant of its Caesar system. i dont have anything firm on this yet though but the 6x6 single cab has also been proposed to carry the next generation of Hi-mars systems.

A bit ambitious putting a Howitzer in PR, best use for it would be a static, but not a usable asset.

i believe the ADF if currentlly testing out a javelin system mounted on a RWS HMG/GPMG combo, if all looks good this one will see service possibly by next year.

latest update on Bushmaster systems IRL.

PLASAN Israel is working with Thales on the new upgraded armor protection systems being assessed for the refits being scheduled for bushmasters. this should see IMV's protected against even 155mm fragmentation and crew protection up to 25mm penetration.

ISTAR capabilities have also been upgraded with all IMV systems capable of supporting C4SIR and Battle Management Systems through intergrated DLAN systems.

that is all

Looks fantastic! Great detail! Keep up the good work. Is there a way to make the Kangaroo symbol a bit more clear? It looks a little pixelated.

RL bushmaster update.

looks like the Canadians are signing up to buy @600 bushmasters, i will post up more when i know more.

EDIT:
(Ottawa, June 2, 2010) - Thales Canada is pleased to announce the signing of an exclusive teaming agreement with DEW Engineering and Development ULC on the assembly of the Bushmaster for the Tactical Armoured Patrol Vehicle (TAPV) Program in Canada. This agreement forms a strategic alliance between two Canadian based companies for the provision of the best solution for the TAPV program, a program that will supply the Canadian Army with up to 600 armoured patrol vehicles.

http://www.thalesgroup.com/Pages/PressR ... x?id=12986

does this mean we might see the Canadians using bushmasters in future?

Australian Proposed Ph 3 Modules
best to my knowledge. http://www.australiandefence.com.au/
• Combat Engineer 4x4PMV
• Heavy Tipper 6x6PMV
• Medium Weight Cab Chassis Cargo 4x4PMV
• Medium Weight Cab Chassis Maintenance 4x4PMV
• Medium Weight Cab Chassis Command Post 4x4PMV
• Medium Weight Cab Chassis Computer Information Systems 4x4PMV
• Medium Weight Cab Chassis Radio, radar, med & dent maintenance 4x4PMV
• Medium/Heavy Container Roll out Platform CROP 6x6PMV
• Medium/Heavy Bulk Fuel Pump & Storage (diesel and aviation) 6x6PMV
• Heavy Bulk Water Pump and Storage 6x6PMV

these are supposedly in addition to the currently in operation modules.
