I am just wondering if i can use it when joining a server.(I mean pass the file verification when we launch the game.)

Can someone verify OP's update working with v1.2.1 ? If it does I'd love to try it when I get a new monitor.

Also are ENB, SweetFX and Platte all different 3'rd party visual enhancement tools?

That's because it's not a customized preset for PR ! it just was a test run of some default effects and a over all compatibility check ! and the really good news is ReShade doesn't have that stupid Alt+Tab crash bug with ENB ! So it just means we can use all the complex effects from skyrim and GTA:IV ENB presets or any other modern games without any problem !
I will make a proper preset for PR when Reshade is out of beta stage !

tried that reshade thing when i enter the game i have a only half a screen the rest is just black...

Having issues getting reshade to work on 8.1. I toggle sweetfx and there is a VERY minimal difference, I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Would really appreciate it if someone could provide a quick writeup on how to get it working properly!

I don?t have experience on 8.1, but did you change your sweetfx_setting.txt (inside sweetfx folder)? Did you install it on main BF2 folder? when you start PR do you see a new message on the screen?

Perhaps you can find answers in his forum site RESHADE.ME

When I installed I did it using RESHADE SETUP.exe.
- I download Reshade + SweetFX 2.0.
- Uncompress in a folder on desktop.
- Run RESHADE SETUP.exe, select DXD9 then select game and looking for BF2.exe. (BF2 works in 32Bits and DXD9).
- The installer create a folder called SWEETFX inside BF2 main folder. There is a file called sweetfx_setting.txt, this one you must to change with the preset that you want to install.

I use W7 64bits & nvidia, no issues following those steps.
