Perhaps you can find answers in his forum site RESHADE.ME

When I installed I did it using RESHADE SETUP.exe.
- I download Reshade + SweetFX 2.0.
- Uncompress in a folder on desktop.
- Run RESHADE SETUP.exe, select DXD9 then select game and looking for BF2.exe. (BF2 works in 32Bits and DXD9).
- The installer create a folder called SWEETFX inside BF2 main folder. There is a file called sweetfx_setting.txt, this one you must to change with the preset that you want to install.

I use W7 64bits & nvidia, no issues following those steps.
Yeah sorry for not updating, but I was only using SweetFX_Settings.txt in the game dir and not the sweetfx folder. Also the auto setup does not work for me so I had to rename reshade32.dll to d3d9.dll. Still getting some random crashes, but I think it might be an unrelated issue. Thanks for getting back, working on tweaking your presets now :)

Remember (extract from readme)

Requirements:
-------------

ReShade requires a computer with Windows Vista or higher.
If you want to use it with OpenGL games, your video card needs to have support
for at least OpenGL 4.3.
It is recommended to update your graphics card drivers to latest version.

The only main software requirement are the Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable and
the DirectX runtime, which probably are already installed:
- https://www.microsoft.com/download/deta ... x?id=30679
- https://www.microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?id=35

You also need .Net Framework 4.5 or higher in case you want to use the setup
tool to simplify installation progress. ReShade itself does not depend on it.
- https://www.microsoft.com/download/deta ... x?id=30653

Don?t know which is your problem, but when you finish your preset, please share it. I will test it, for sure.

This is a customized ReShade Preset for PR . this tool add some post processing effects such as Color corrections & Bloom & Sharpening to the game ! :)

Installation :
v0.5 ReShade
Download one of the presets from the links below and extract it in your main Project Reality BF2 directory (where your PRBF2.exe is) !

>> DOWNLOAD RFWPR0.5 <<

>> DOWNLOAD RFWPR0.5CX <<

Known bugs :
ReShade utility is still in beta stage and this preset is just a preview of some of its features , So if you have any problems with the utility itself or you want to know how to tweak some of the effects to your liking , just replay to this thread and I'll be happy to help you with it ! ;)

NOTE: You can use Scroll Lock key to toggle ReShade's effects ON/OFF ingame !

Update #5 :
Changed main injector to ReShade 0.18.5
Alt+Tab no longer crash the game
New color correction settings
Removed eye adaptation temporarily

I'll give it a try today.

I have the same issues I had with it awhile ago. I appreciate the overall color grading but intense bloom effects and saturated white balance turns me away from using this.

I'll try playing with it for a full day and record some gameplay.

My two recent 60s seconds have the preset on, but YT compression shat on the quality.

Thank you for your feedback and for those amazing videos ! ;)
as for your suggestions about less bloom and white balance in color grading , I made a small patch to fix them ! just download the file attached to this post and extract it inside ReShade folder and replaced them with the original files ! let me know what you think about it afterward !
Also I added a new preset to the first post ! this one uses a heavy cinematic color filter ,but with less bloom and white balance compared to the last preset ! it would be great if you could make a video with this one too ! ;)

What's the preset you're using on the Dovre images? Thanks a lot SAM.
Edit: Can't get AO to work through Nvidia Inspector. What can I do?

Well the one in the dovre's screenshots was a MasterEffect preset , but it was a little too bright for desert maps like kashan or fallujah and I didn't had any idea how to fix it back then ! But I guess I can give it another shot on framework platform now ! just give me a couple of days ! ;)
For adding AO through Nvidia Inspector , you should add "PRBF2.exe" to your battlefield 2 profile first ! just click on the "add application to current profile" on the top bar and then select PRBF2.exe ! and then follow the rest of this instruction >>
SAM609 wrote: Image

1-Run NVIDIA Inspector and click on the Driver profile setting icon .
2-Select Battlefield 2 profile .
3-Select Fallout3 Ambient Occlusion compatibility and apply the change .
4-Set Ambient Occlusion setting to Quality and Ambient Occlusion usage to Enabled and apply the changes !

Well that is pretty unique ! honestly I think you can sell that picture for like 100-200K as a piece of modern art !
Unfortunately for playing the game though , you can't use any other injector tool (CCC override in your case) alongside ReShade for now ! but the ReShade developer said that he'll fix that problem in future update ! so you just have to wait for now ! ;)

Thanks, really great enhancement, this needs to be made into a sticky so the new comers can see it.
