Actually, it is possible. But that's off-topic.

Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to make it. Hope you guys have fun though.

Suggestion:

If the event starts at 18:00, you could/should release a rough changelist maybe at 15:00.
That way the participants will know what they should try out and where to look for changes, instead of blind guessing. Otherwise i'll bet, the testers will report significant changes at each weapon system, even if there wasnt any changes at all.

But you shouldnt release the exact numbers. Just give them a rough idea where to look.

For example:
uslmg_m249acog

Single Shot Settle Time: slightly reduced
ObjectTemplate.recoil.recoilForce: slightly increased
Probably just use terms from "reduced" to "slightly reduced", "slighty increased" to "increased".

If you need help with it, i could help you. I'd just need the "weapons_client_patchXXX.zip".

As a tester I have a question. Are we allowed to video the event and post it on YouTube?

Please do not share any media which is related to the event!

For the simple reason, that we don't want anyone judging PR by watching gameplayvideos with (or reports of) beta settings.

That is also why we are running a CLOSED beta test, with only "approved" people to keep leaking at the most possible minimum.

I just researched the tweak files and i have two questions.
A PR server fps were 30 right?

And i created a Deviation Tutorial/Manual/Changelog for 0.97-> 1.0 (for the factions/weapons you changed). Shall i keep that for myself or shall i share that with the others event participants?

Server FPS is not constant, it changes depending on load; e.g. 128 servers have more than 64, EJOD loads less than Shijia.

Your guide is probably inaccurate if dependant on servers being at 30FPS, however I'm sure it'll apply as long as you make clear settle rates are dependant on server FPS.

So what is the common 64player server fps? Somewhere i read about this 30.

Can you give me some source of different server fps?

Server FPS is dependant on what it is loading Vs its server resources.

I think 30 is the max, but it'll be lower - considerably lower in certain circumstances

If you want to give a guide at 30FPS, thats fine; just make it clear that it'll be differnet in reality

My 64p servers run at 35-36 FPS, no matter if full or not.
It really depends on the server hardware but haven't really cared about it.
