and we can have people fire out of the sid w/o their seatbelts on, so that if the helicopter does something where any real person would fall out, they stay magically attached to it!

Yes, Delta Force wears modified gunners belts while sitting outside of the oh-6's. they also wear gunners belts with straps while sitting in the door way.

On the Discovery Wings/Military Channel last night they had a show about a helo branch in afgahnistan. At one point during the war, some SF had been strapped to a Cobra ammo bay and lifeted up a mountain in order to capture some prisoners who were escaping. Maybe we should have some o' that!

I saw it also. Task Force Red Dog. They lifted two SF members at a time, they took out ammo bay panel and placed their feet on the slicks.

Yes it would. I wonder if those pics are real, or just a staged event portraying what happened. It could very well be real as one of the SF guys could have had a camera, and this sure would be something to take a picture of.

Good lord! Well, I suppose its better than what an Israeli patrol had to do in Lebanon. The AH-1 crew lifted them out by having the poor dumb ******** hang off of the skids by their arms two at a time.

I guess that would depend on what body part and what type of ground, object or parts thereof they landed on.
I believe they actually had a note in the manual for equipping the Cobra for the SPIES rig at one time.
