Yes. We just don't like to jynx our chances until the maps using them are ready and out for everyone to play.

Hey Devs, this documentary shows how much anti tanks and stuff were used during Omaha Beach. Not sure how accurate it is, but here it is for the mapper: Surviving D-Day Omaha Beach 1944 (720P) - YouTube

Now if someone wanted to make a map for this that would be nice

Nice documentary, but we have to remember that we need to keep things balanced, so giving them the defenses and lots of AT will be OP for the germans.

Nice, but the reload animation seems not to be sync with the reload sound, am I wrong?

Could be, but it's about the animations. Sounds can be changed later.

Nice, will its recoil be increased to make the Garand a slightly more appealing choice?

Why would the recoil be increased? The carbine was a much smaller weapon, and a little easier to handle. If anything, the accuracy would be a little less at longer ranges, but recoil should be less or the same as the garand. This is just from my personal experience, as I own a garand I've shot an m1 carbine that belongs to a friend a few times.

Garand = Higher damage and accuracy at long range.
M1 Carbine = Higher ammo capacity and less recoil.

Or maybe not recoil, just something that will make the garand an appealing choice. I remember absolutely everyone used the m1 carbine because it was a lot better than the Garand in terms of recoil and ammo.

Yea, in all honesty the m1 Carbine would be a more practical choice for close fights due to its size (roughly half that of the garand) and its ammo capacity, but as Pvt.LHeureux said, the garand is much better at long range fights, as well as its increased stopping power when compared to the m1 carbine. I'm sure whoever makes the final decision on this will make a good balanced choice.

There were reports of the M1A1 being totally ineffective against soldiers.
"In the Pacific theater, soldiers and guerrilla forces operating in heavy jungle with only occasional enemy contact praised the carbine for its small size, light weight, and firepower. Other soldiers and marines engaged in frequent daily firefights (particularly those serving in the Philippines) found the weapon to have insufficient stopping power and penetration. Reports of the carbine's failure to stop enemy soldiers, sometimes after multiple hits, appeared in individual after-action reports, postwar evaluations, and service histories of both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps."
Animations looking good I'd pay more attention to the standards set by Project Reality with regard to reload speed, deploy time, aiming-delay and camera-shake to make it look consistent but it's a great job done.

Thank you for taking the time to comment Chuc, appreciated.
Everyone please have in mind that this video (or others in the future) might not represent the final version.
