Why does it look like someone took a sledgehammer to the dome thingy in the third picture? :O
Other than that I can't wait to fly this.

ok this is a great ref for any future explorations on any thing eurocopter, i am sure if there is any thing else about this unit the the knowledge base that is available on this forum will set us straight.

i wont make anymore comments on this one for now, i dont want to kill the poor boy.
just have a look at the 3d flight sim and the virtual tours.

Real world update.

tiger ARH is in final phase, 16 platforms built and 3 fully realized operational ready optimized builds combat ready and active at this time. 250hrs flight time logged over 4000 rnds live munitions and hellfire 2 programs completed. last two program enhancements currently undergoing certification and documentation. Air to Air to upgrade evaluation to begin primary evaluation on completion of ADF final acceptance of platform.

very big thanks to the French DGO for all their great work.
the tiger ARH is now considered the most advanced variant of this FOV currently available.

i currently have the DMO public paper on this item and am reading it through.
it is not a light read.

cheers. ( i love this time of year, its when government put out all the financial year report's. it's like having the keys to the candy store! man am i excited. also they now do DMO reviews live on APAC on foxtel. oh man tonight's one was awesome!)

dont know if this has been worked on since this last skin, but to be honest it shouldnt be very dirty at all, it would be my understanding that since we have so few of these beasts, any that we actualy do send into a combat zone would be very very well maintained, and the colours on the real thing are alot brighter :) but then again that skin was made aloooong time ago so wat do i know :P

these will hopefully be deployed to the ghan sometime next year or year after! so they wont stay all shiny and new... and there is a few now in darwin that the paint has faded enough to make them look weathered and not so bright!

We might not deploy heavy assets. I believe it's going to be dependant on what Holland does.
