I don't get the second one, is it an AK47 animation? you blow off a clip and then it seems to attach a barrel or grenade launcher or something not replace an ammo clip, or am I mistaken?

The AK-looking thing in that vid is the PP-19 "Bizon" SMG, an SMG variant of the AKS-74U noted for its helical magazine (the barrel thing on the bottom) giving it a very high ammunition capacity for an SMG (64 rounds). Its the Malitia SF weapon, and was used by MEC Anti-Tank back in VBF2.

Anyway, awesome awesome awesome. 3D sights and epic animations. Love it, but I have to agree, the recoil on the QBZ-95B does seem rather overstated.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Chineese spec ops weapons recoil seems quite a bit over the top, especially compared to all of the other weapons of its size and caliber and that it is a bullpop design.

Other than that I love that so many weapons are getting new animations.

it seems that the recoil has gone up substantially for the carbines (mainly the chinese/american). Was that the FPS stuff? or is the recoil really that extreme?

Only the crewman uses it now iirc. And being a bullpup and being smaller and lighter than every other rifle it would have more recoil.

You completely sure about this? seen any videos of it being fired or anything like that? Aren't bullpop-weapons easier to control and keep steady?

Bullpups are very back heavy, which increases recoil dramatically.

Which is why the SA80 has a massive weight at the front of the Handguard.

I see. Makes sense. Still, isn't it easier for the soldier to keep a bullpop-weapon steady since its more compact? I think you know what I'm trying to say.

And my question about if you have seen the QBZ-95B being fired/spoken to anyone who have fired it is still unanswered. Of what I've heard/read the QBZ-95 series of weapons are said to be easily controllable in fully automatic due to (quoting wikipedia) "the low recoil impulse of the small caliber ammunition and a very complex recoil buffer system". But since I bet you guys have better sources on these kind of things than I have I give up.

I'm sure [R-CON]PRC_HeavyZ could answer any question you have about the QBZ95 IRL.
