I actually believe that the rails are painted, but they are using rail covers and therefor they seem to be black.
The ladder type, to protect the grooves on the picatinny rail.
But it's just a theory...

Not generally, I'd say about 20-30 percent or so. I use it on the rail on the underside, makes it much more comfortable to hold the weapon when not using the front grip.

it may just be me but i cant really see much difference between your texture and the one i did on it other then the forward hand grip??? might be just me but if it is my texture (at least used as the base that your working off) i would like to be credited for it... I am talking about the texture i can see you have fixed a few model errors like smoothing and such but yeah..

may just be me.

i was talking about the main weapon. I said i can see its a new texture on the hand grip.

The base texture on all of them are made by tonnie15 and his brother you should credit them for the base texture which you modified! Other than that it looks amazing :razz:

ok going over them all i can see is you have darkened my texture? (the one i havent been given credit for) with a few other small tweaks but you are deff using my texture as a base


Heres some of my WIP shots that me and my brother made. (and this is where i will do the right thing and make my credits. tonnie15 / bonnie15 / And who ever made the base texture we used for the grenade launcher)

I didn't notice before now that You have modeled a 40mm(x53) grenade for the Mk-19. It doesn't actually matter, but it has an little different profile and is all yellow with green writing, if I remember correctly. Google tells me it should be an M433 HEDP.

It's just me being particular :)
