I really don't think DICE or EA would really care about it. Plus it's the same series, I do it with making mods in BFV. And i said that you could just use it as a template, not a complete copy.

why use it as an template if a modeler can be creative ?

Fh2 has a nice church they have 4 diffrent ones, 2 ruins, 2 in good condition.

FH2 has a lot of nice Western Europe buildings and a lot of nice over and undergrowth. But I don't think the FH2 devs will let us use all those statics and I don't think the PR devs don't like us using so much statics from FH2.

1330 tris so far, finished model will probably have 1500. I hope I can get everything on a 512x512 texture (color and detail as well).

Thanks, I always thought caravans ARE the houses of the dutch?! ;)

Anyway, finished the uvw, just needs uniform scaling and then its ready for texturing! I am probably doing this tomorrow. Maybe baking AO-Maps and a highpoly for the wheel but this only when I am really motivated.

If anything it be the houses of the germans, as they drag themselfs overe here to dig holes in our beaches :P

nice model, i hope MCI can use it on his map, and like mentioned in the tutorial it has to be UVmapped to a palet.

He also needs road signs farms houses etc.

Which texture-pallet should I use? I want to create a new texture for this model - I think I can put everything on a 512 diffuse map + 512 normalmap. Should be far under 1MB for these textures. If it would be a big building I wouldn't have any problems using the existing pallets, but this is just a small prop...

First editor shots, but without proper normalmap and completely without specularmap. Poylcount is at 2k. Textures are
one dxt1 colortexture @512x512px (170kb),
one dxt5 detailmap @512x512 (341kb) and
one normalmap dxt1 @512x512 (170kb)
=681kb for textures. Zipped they are @ 221kb should be small enough imho.
