Torrents is for the pre load, At February 5th or after, there are going to mirrors on file hosting sites. Fileplanet etc.

It will be on file hosting sites on the release day but the torrents are for the preload.

*sigh of relief* not that im scared of torrents... id just rather not be using em unless i have too
hopefully this time they aren't all corrupted...

If you are going to download from a file hosting site it is recommended to use a download manager so that your files wont be corrupted.

Nice one team looking forward to it, ill be seeding until friday aswell.

so when we get the password for the preload do we just delete the 0.87 version and prsp?

also we need more seeders

I dont want to waste time uninstalling when I can use that time to play.

If you want to play PR until Friday then keep it installed otherwise you wont be able to play PR.

Because you rarly have the case where release = install and play in the minutes that follow.

This way the download load is managed on multiple day in advance and helps direct download servers not blowing up under the stress

So you can play it as soon as its released instead of waiting for release and then having to download it for hours on the day. Makes sense too me.

Awesome. The changelog is great, too; just read most of it. But I have a suggestion on the trailers:

as much as the video looks great, it definitely doesn't showcase the mod properly. Don't get me wrong, it has a great editing work on it, just like all the old ones, but it's not Project Reality I see there. Maybe for the next one we could have in-game footage? You know... with SLs communicating; real gameplay situations going on. It would be a lot more exciting and informative for people that didn't play PR yet.

install today, and look at empty servers for hours as peeps have to download according to their speed and timezone.

download today, install later, jump on immediately after to be greeted by many hundreds, if not thousands of PR players.
