is there any way to enable a dynamic cross-hair that changes size with deviation for offline training? It might make deviation feedback threads more reliable and will introduce people to the unintuitive system a little easier.

Helicopter and jet physics should be a tickbox at the map selection screen. I don't care if bots can't fly them because I'm only going to be playing against 2 bots when I practice heli fun times.

The problem with the bots is, they can't even know that you are behind them, then they turn around go prone, and kill you within 1,5 seconds!
If you sit in a vehicle, an enemy jet comes (mostly) and drops 6 bloody bombs into your face.
Only think how you can survive is to take the bot's jet and shoot the enemy down!

This doesn't work for training your skills...you always get screwed in some kind by this uber-pwner bots

Hell, you could use Coop to train in previous versions, too, you just had to DL and install the add on.

So this isn't a new thing in all honesty.

The biggest issue are air vehicles.
Bots can't fly the MP versions, so bot friendly versions exist.

This causes a conflict.
On Kashan, (and some other maps) you can find MP versions if you truly want to learn to fly the right way.

I'll say that we are looking into changes, but they won't happen with the next fix.

Another issue is all the Coop servers I have played have humans on Blufor and bots on Opfor.
32 humans versus 32 bots is no contest. Especially on maps where heavy vehicles are involved.

And almost all servers i have played will kick you if you try and play the 'other' side.
Found this out after I pillaged the US on Muttrah :razz:

Also noticed they set the AI difficulty level pretty low.

I'm not going to tell servers how to run their sh*t, but it makes for some boring matches.

In general, however, 95% of the stuff in Coop is perfectly fine for 'training'.

So QCRulzz, it is what it is for now.

Pretty sure there is one (or maybe a couple) MP servers that have created a 'training' mode. Check them out.
Those co op servers are not as good for training as the old training servers imo. Everyone wants the training servers back accept you R DEV guys. Noobs are not going to join some special clan server for training and the co op just isnt the same. People getting bombed on training servers can be solved by just joining a less populated server ... its not that big of a deal anyway. What is a big deal is noobs crashing jets and causing skilled players to leave servers after half the assets are wiped out and wasted. Please bring the training servers back I think the benefits outweigh the probs.

most of the co op servers don't even have jets or helis anyways. bring back 64 player maps its always 32.

That COOP was advertised as the 'new training mode' was a mistake.
It was not created to be as such.
That's it.

COOP does not equal training mode.

If you want the old Kashan training map back, asked in another sub forum as the PRSP team had nothing to do with it.
