Is there any chance you can make a deployable bridge that deploys from a tank? so that when an armor squad needs a bridge deployed they don't need to wait for a logistics truck or have one tagging along with them as they could be taken out by an LAT.

You mean deployed from a normal Main Battle Tank (MBT) with a turret that shoots shells or from a Armored Vehicle Launched Bridge (AVLB) which is basically a converted tank with no turret that can "deploy" bridges?reaper123167 wrote:Is there any chance you can make a deployable bridge that deploys from a tank? so that when an armor squad needs a bridge deployed they don't need to wait for a logistics truck or have one tagging along with them as they could be taken out by an LAT.
A MBT, not going to happen isn't at all realistic...
For a AVLB, read the Highlights post on the CSBs on the reasons why we are using the Logi truck (representing the TBT - Tank Bridge Transporter) instead of making a brand new AVLB for every faction.

Cant wait for the new assets! I hope the bridge mechanic doesn't turn game-breaking. The scopes look amazing, I'm super eager to see how 3d scopes affect close range skirmishing.

I can't wait for the new helos! The CSB will also make a fun, new addition to the logistics side of warfare.

I only want rallys like the first patch... no rallys make a very static game and sometimes boring. And if the team dont build firebases the PR is only walk.
Sorry for my english.

Would the bridge be on a vehicle or would it be deployed by the sl?

wow these look very nice. How come the jeeps look a little worse in game? Im guessing its because of the BF2 engine?

Everything looks worse ingame than it dose in a good render. A good render takes a few mins, sometimes even hrs to "render" a single frame, where ingame you need 30 frames or more to be rendered every second which means the engine are designed to render them in lower quality than a high quality max render is to keep up, although other engines do have "better graphics engines" which have the object looking better.HileMighClub wrote:wow these look very nice. Re: Project Reality Highlights Reel #6
Yeah, we're working with a 5+ year-old engine. Compare an object being rendered in both BF2 and a more updated engine, say the engine from ArmA 2, and you get two completely different results.
