my squad was pinned down a bit by a sniper in the hills on Muttrah. Eventually we gave up trying to kill him, and decided to move. I couldn't resist having another pop, so instead of covering my arc I looked up, sighted in, and headshotted him.

Range: about 250m .. Not very impressive but the whole squad were laughing as his body slid down our side of the hill.

Made even more impressive by the fact that I accidentally had my gun on Auto, and it was an aimpoint!

No proof.. hardly needed, is it. I think the SL was a bit miffed - he'd just bothered to mark the sniper on the map!

I killed a tali with my m16 at 300m..(m203) hehe

Description: "I sniped 2 guys out of the castle on Kornegal at around 700m (I can't really tell because of the videos quality, so correct me if that doesn't sound right). The first guy was shot in the head while prone then tumbled down the side of the castle. The second guy was climbing a ladder and was shot in the head, he too tumbled down. I had a good laugh."

Watch high quality and full screen or you wont see the second body fall. This was a while ago and my computer wasn't nearly as good, so I had to record low quality.

I dont know about you guys, but I don't automatically take a screenie or video every time I do something awesome.

My best sniper kill would have to be ~650-700m. It was in .9 on Op Archer, and I had just stolen a Canadian sniper kit. Me an d my spotter were in the hills Northeast of the castle. I shot 4 guys on top of the castle and was never compromised. OFC I don't have proof.

post your first time using the radio before taking the longest sniper shot so that you're not just being useless killing people that most likely will get revived.

I do apologize for the anti-sniper sentiments, just that a lot of new Project Reality players fail to understand the game beyond the scope.

Just letting you know, It removes two tickets for killing someone, 1 if they get revived. A humvee with worth 2 tickets, same with a supply truck. So every time you get a confirmed kill, that's two tickets, plus 1 ticket for whoever was revived. Pinning down squads and long range supportive fire are excellent

Dunno about you, but with my squads it's usually just a case of someone says 'oh, its ok, its a sniper' and then I get the binos out and look to the nearest hill.

'Yeah, it is just a sniper. Asshat. nvm let's carry on.'

And then we carry on exactly the same as we usually do, after I mark him on the map. Occasionally a shot lands at our feet but sooner or later I put a hill in-between us.

Pinning down squads is for the AR at med-range, not the sniper at 600m from behind a hill with his trusty medic behind him desperately trying to make use of a pair of binoculars.

Haha the jump is the representation from the 360 jump I made horizontally, but it was kinda hard to see on the battlerecorder, and for some reason that made it look like a flip you know haha.

Its easy , found a good spot , lock your target , standby your shot then enjoy the recoil

Btw the tali always cut me on kokan xd

Muttrah, as mec on the castle tower sniping hmmwv gunners and everyone I can see till the fow, dunno how long is that, but one time in Muttrah I sniped some guy that I barely saw the edge of his head, everything else was blocked by fow. Was a nice kill

Also got 42 kills 4 deaths that round with a 38 kill streak I died because I had to go get ammo and a techie killed me, then I just started playing as regular ground inf when I died a second time after picking up the sniper.

not really a long shot. mostly a fail

I kinda lol'd about the fact it was on Op.Archer as the longest shot IRL was by a Canadian

That was one heck of a shot man....excellent job!

I once killed a Tank driver 4 kms far with a knife.
