Game crashes for some people on clicking the "sign in" button after loading the map. Re-optimizing the shaders by changing the graphic settings or delete the bf2 cache can help.

How long will the event last for? Because I dont get off work until 3:00PM PST. Also, why do people keep joining then leaving instantly. About CTD's... I dont CTD on my midrange pc.

Grober, please try running in windowed mode, edit your PR shortcut and add +fullscreen 0

can you run in local?

try several layers please

Confirmed. I just test it. Anyone who is going to participate in event please make sure you are not running PR on low terrain setting.

interesting, it must be the decrease in terrain LM resolution, this will be put back up to standard size in next version. The other optimisations will have prevented CTDs anyway

Event will start at 19:00 PRT/GMT guys, we'll seed the server normally until then, make sure you are all on mumble! :)

We had bug when even started, there should be 2 reserved slots, but when someone left no one else could connect and he got message about reserved slots. We fixed it when we noticed it - it worked fine. Sorry for any inconvenience.
