Alright, I'll see if I can figure it out.

I deleted my btr60s in GPO but now I get this message:

Couldn't find object to attach visible solder to: mtlb gunner...

I guess I will have to delete all vehicles, or maybe someone knows a solution?

I have now changed the roads, I think this can turn out pretty well, just some more trash on the roads and some bomb craters and stuff. I still got no lightmaps but for some reason the UG decided to show its true colors.

very nice progress. You have come a far way ;)

Now give it some terrain lightmaps and show us that minimap.

Looking good, is it possible to change color of the OG so its more brown? Also maybe add crater into middle of a street, make the streets look more beat up? Making them look a bit more muddy might help too.

Hehe mineral I'm afraid it will be a while before I can show minimap, I have looked at the tutorial for the minimap and it seems like real complicated stuff :P
EDIT: Forgot I can just lightmap it and get it from ps...
Yes lucky, exactly what I wrote aswell. At the moment the streets look a bit empty I know :)
I don't know If I can change color of OG but I will change the suncolor and terraincolor to a bit darker.

Great progress. I was firstly skeptical about this map, didn't think it can make it way into PR, but it shaped so good, that I believe in it now. Keep up the good work.

I have now done terrain lightmaps on both low and medium(tried low first but no changes, and then medium), but when it's done I see no changes at all, and also when I try to save it after it's done it can't save, the save window doesn't appear, like nothing has changed on the map since my last save (which was right before lightmaps)..

I followed this guide: Lightmap Tutorial For Beginners - Official BF Editor Forums

I set the sun direction some months ago so I shouldn't have to do it now right?

I didn't copy the text in the tutorial, I just switched to "terrainMode", since it said I could do either.

This is the settings I used:
Trace Terrain
Medium resolution
Texture size 2048
DXT format: DXT1

EDIT: NVm, I tried it ingame and it seems like it worked :)

Ok so here is the new minimap with medium terrain lightmaps. I will make the terrain a bit brighter and also change some other lightsettings.
( There are some objects in some random places which I will move/delete later)

That's the weirdest shaped river I have ever seen. You should make it a bit less bendy. Right now it looks onrealistic as a real river would never have tight turns like that due to corrosion.

Well, actually I made it just like in real life, every bend of the river i measured and stuff, as you can see on this picture the river is really "bendy". (As time went by I made some changes to it of course so every bend is not there anymore like it was in the beginning)

Yeah, that's why some of the bends are not there anymore. But I will try to fix it up, I see some bends which can be worked on alot more.

Nice screens with shading it looks far better, cant wait to destroy the Russian columns as the creep up the debris fulled streets (or soon to be debris fulled).
