Is there any chance Civilians/Collaborators get some changes in an upcoming patch?

I'll make some torrents for the installers, give me a sec and I'll PM them to you.

I know that a few players (including myself) have been complaining about insurgency being unbalanced, sometimes to the point of frustration, but is this really true? I know the devs monitor game statistics and was wondering what those statistics show. Do insurgents really get steamrolled most of the time or is it more balanced than some of us imagine? I'd be curious to know what percentage of games insurgents win on maps like Al Basrah and Kokan. Anyway, thanks for all of the hard work!

Hi All,

How do I turn up the volume for local speech and turn down the background vehicles etc? Any help will be appreciated please?

you cant tweak individual sounds of the game(vehicles,guns,etc..), what you can do to make the game less loud is lower the effects volume ingame.

To make Mumble(local and squad chat, not individual) louder you must open mumble.
PR Launcher --> Pr Mumble Tab --> Blue launch button

There you go to the Configure tab --> Settings.
There on the Audio Output tab you can change the Volume slider to tweak the volume settings of mumble.

Another alternative to Mineral's suggestion above is to create shortcuts for Mumble's voluume. I have + and - on my numberpad set to raise and lower mumble's volume respectively... so when it's mostly vehicle based local, I raise the volume of mumble (and maybe decrease my overall volume) and then I tone it back when I get back to squad-level chat.

Ive done the same.. It's perfect for me if the sounds are too high... But sometimes I dont wanna hear anyone jabbing, then I just press "-" a few times cause I wanna hear the battlefield.

Hello, can someone inform me where to post for advertising a community server? I'd like to advertise that it's a new server, and what you could expect from it. I didn't see anywhere for this kind of topic in the threads. at the moment, we're currently not doing any official PR event, although we are thinking about it in the future. we're not trying to recruit members into our community, but we're just wanting to say "hey, this is our server, come and check us out!"

You might want to host an event. I know you said that you aren't, but you need a reason for people to go to your server. Otherwise people are going to see your server with 5 people in it and then they'll see HOG or CIA with about 90-100 in it and they'll probably go for that.

Host an event and let everyone that attends know that your server will stay open and just keep it running after the event. That way some people will stick around and hopefully it will keep carrying momentum.
