Are local server using the games fps or some different local server fps maxed around 30-40?
I have tried the new deviation setting locally and i think the general 4 seconds for prone deviation seems to be the same. Btw, interesting changes that far.

Im pretty dissapointed there are no video streams or uploads permitted. 128 player test are on youtube and maybe some people made there minds about it based on those videos, too. Should that be forbidden too, ideally? I dont think so.
On the other hand, after seeing how some people are raging after reading a encrypted BETA changelog, I can understand this a bit more.

Its closed beta testing. C-L-O-S-E-D. People have been handpicked from the pool of applications. People who they think are suitable and will play for the testing itself not just to be in and then write some half-assed report.
Im pretty sure if someone records it and then uploads it after the confirmations of changes/1.0 release it shouldnt be such a problem... But then again, everybody else would be getting the changes.

Will we have a normal game running with 64 players? Or will it be less testers?

Well, since this test focuses on deviation, I guess there will be Inf Only maps. would not make any sense to bring in vehicles right?
But then again, 64 players on a skirmish map would be crazy. Either some big Inf maps without allowing vehicles like Ghost Train or Assault on Mestia for 64 players. Or several rounds of different skirmish maps with 32 ppl.
I don't know, we will see tonight.

UPDATE:
For the last couple of hours, all other players can hop on the server now:
Needed files:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/1696532/deviation_test.zip
How to install:
1.
Make sure PR:BF2 isn't running.
2.
Make a backup of weapons_server_patch2.zip* which is located here:
"[...]\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\objects"
(*Anders' SoundMod users: weapons_server_patch2_am.zip should get backuped too)
3.
Then copy the downloaded weapons_server_patch2.zip* to that directory
(*Anders' SoundMod users: weapons_server_patch2_am.zip needs to be exchanged too)
4.
Done!
Keep in mind that you'll have to revert these changes before playing on a regular server again.
ServerIP:
5.9.5.3:16577
Serverpassword:
Keep

It gave as a good input to the development.
All testers who signed up before received a PM from K4on with a small survey about the changes.
