Re: [Vehicle] Land Rover Defender [WIP](FDF,GB)
I had some issues in my RL so this has been on hold. There was major issues with windows on the roof so i had to cut the whole roof off and make a new one from scratch. Lot of work with this one still i afraid. But i try to model this when i have spare time.
Yrkidding: No idea. Perhaps we are both crazy. I have measured and compared the car with the british land rover and they share exact measures.

In my opinion the landy in the screenshots does look somehow stretched...

Yeah clearly some extra stretch between the front wheel and cockpit.'[R-COM wrote:Hulabi;2014000']A tiny bit on the front maybe:

Re: [Vehicle] Land Rover Defender [WIP](FDF,GB)
The old Land Rover had some major issues and it looked pretty horrible so i thought that i have to model it from scratch to make it better.
Now this model is lighter with tris and can be optimized more. SG:s dont mess around, Chassis is lined up and the whole vehicle looks better imo.

To me that looks much better, can't see anything to change. Except maybe the lack of a spare tyre (bonnet or rear door mounted) and a rear door on a station wagon.

Chassis is allmost ready. Still too heavy so im optimizing the car.
The tire will be added if there is still room for details when car is welded together and interior is ready.
My solution for the suspension systems on the back.
Slow progress but im getting there.

Door handles look to big but mostly too low.
Wheels look too small and too inside.
AFAIK all 110's have the alpine lights, but maybe Fin army ones don't....
Otherwise great!

Thank you Ploddithanley for the feedback!
Wheels are adjusted and they look pretty good imo. Some of the 110`s have alpines and some don`t so i just made decision that they are not so important. Lower tris aswell..
But less talk moar pics with and without wireframe. (Yes i didnt get rendered wireframe for some weird reason:sad

Cool looks better.
Should have a spare somewhere either bonnet or tailgate, but not important.
Is that a convoy light hanging down of the rear crossmember?

Now that u asked, im not so sure. But i will look in to it. I took the tire away, its not so important and its waste of tris.PLODDITHANLEY wrote:Cool looks better.

But a little update for the LR is that 85% of the UV:s is done. Little packing here and there still must be done coz im not happy with the result yet. But that will be done soon.
And yes. I will show you guys the UV sheet when its ready.

Its kinda like convoy light. Its used when warlights are on and reversing with the vehicle. The car behind can estimate the distance looking the cross what is lighten that little light middle of the shield.PLODDITHANLEY wrote:Is that a convoy light hanging down of the rear crossmember?
