Re: PR:BF2 Guide to Best Possible Graphics with nVidia GPU
Its working fine but causing invisible gound (only unscoped) for some people. Doesnt have to do with SLI tho like Loopy mentioned. Its definitely caused by SweetFX i managed to proof that. Any idea why it is doing that?? The problem sometimes only appears/disppears with certain resolutions. Its weird and happens randomly, sometimes you change things and the game works fine. A day later you start it and the ground is gone again. PLS HALP!

Any changes to this with 1.3 being standalone?

When I click Apply Changes it reverts back to default? Any suggestions?

When I last checked this with 1.3, it seems I lost the ability to change AA and AO settings. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: PR:BF2 Guide to Best Possible Graphics with nVidia GPU
I restored my nVidia Inspector settings with import tool (a box and a green arrow in toolbar). Suggest everyone to use the export tool to have settings backed up.
Then I used SweetFX Configurator to setup SweetFX to PR folder and then dropped my old settings file (SweetFX_settings.txt) there as well.
Everything works beautifully with 1.3.![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
e: Ingame AA should be OFF when using nVidia Inspector.
e2: Moreover, i'm using Windoze 10 Pro Insider Preview, even before 1.3.

I managed to sort this by a combination of:
1. Remove PR (probably unnecessary)
2. Clean install of a new Nvidia Driver 353.06
3. reboot
4. reinstalled pr
5. copied a fresh copy of Inspector to c:\tools\inspector
It now saves settings

Re: PR:BF2 Guide to Best Possible Graphics with nVidia GPU
First of all thanks for this amazing guide, I applied it to new standalone version and it worked perfectly without noticing FPS drop! (just tried Karbala ins map)
I have a question though. I have a notebook and it's not that high end. Here are my specs:
i5 5200U
GeForce 820M 2GB
8GB RAM
1 TB HDD
I wonder how it would look if I don't apply Inspector settings and just use Sweetfx. Curious about both visuals and performance.
Or an alternate question : Do I have better performance than standart PR settings?
Sorry for my eng btw. Thanks a lot again!

Re: PR:BF2 Guide to Best Possible Graphics with nVidia GPU
hey, i thought i had the same problem...do you mean, if you exit and then start up inspector again all the fields are back to the default ones? thats because the "profile" setted at the top of the window is back to GLOBAL DRIVER PROFILE, just search for battlefield 2 and you should see all the mods you applied earlierMattUK001 wrote:I managed to sort this by a combination of:

Re: PR:BF2 Guide to Best Possible Graphics with nVidia GPU
Can anyone confirm this working with 1.4.x?
PR crashes in start.
I reinstalled Windoze and PR and set up SweetFX like it was and changed uber settings with nVidiaProfileInspector (former NVidiaInspector)

Re: PR:BF2 Guide to Best Possible Graphics with nVidia GPU
Manual installation of SweetFX 1.5.1 (just copy package files in your PR folder) and it works fine. Well, throws some errors about d3dx11.dll but you get rid of those by deleting or renaming dxgi.dll and dxgi.fx.
I tried with SweetFX Configurator first without to no avail...
edit: SweetFX Configurator works, here's the valid version: http://sweetfx.thelazy.net/?p=137

Re: PR:BF2 Guide to Best Possible Graphics with nVidia GPU
Any opinions on these SweetFX settings vs the GEM mod? I'd like to know which is better. I had the GEM v0.6 and it was a real performance hit. These SweetFX settings on the other hand delivered little to no realisable hit on performance. Should i keep these settings or is the newer GEM 0.64 better looking?

I made a quick guide to setup ReShade in Forgotten Hope 2
Maybe same settings will work fine in PR
